The Scrameustache

Another project was to upgrade and modernize the form of  TV.
The whole thing is based on the Franco-Belgian cult comic 
The Scrameustache of 1972. 
Colour is mine, characters are Christians Kuntz and the whole
project was made ​​for AT Anim.

Carbonmade

Yolk has recently got an invitation to a new joint project by Carbonmade :D

And so imanaged to get my hands on their tee, which also found their way to other participating artists. More about the project soon :)

The Spiral Staircase

Near the end of the last year i got my hands at a beatifull kid series project, by CN Europe Studio.

There were only 3 people working on the illustration part:
Tom Radclife - original story and illustrations, Dominic Ho - postproduction, and me - color design. Overseeing our work was Mathias Upton-Hansen.

We had 3 weeks to get everything done. Because of that it was a time of very hard work, we worked day and night, including weekends.
Tom created beatifull and spectacular illustrations. It was a great pleasure to be able to underline with colour their character, style and atmosphere.
I'm very glad that i got a free hand regarding all the colors. And that my style - that i've been developing more and more lately - was fitting enough that i got a permission to work on everything "my way" :>
Moments like that are a great joy for any artist :> Pity, that they're also so rarely present with our polish productions, where most often i have to mimic western styles... What and irony...

But anyway - in the heat of work we managed to create about a 7 minutes long episode. Both opened and closed by a steampunk-like stylised narrator.
Great sound, professionally done english job ;)  ...so nice.

Tom, Dominic - thanks a lot for the great work, and also Mathias - for the artdirectors understandind!

Mushrooming

Hey there!
Finally i have some free time and mood to scribble something.
Couple of words on the series i just uploaded.

A long time ago i made illustrations for books. I really missed that, especially the ones for kids. From that came the idea to unearth Pea. She's an old friend with who i experimented years back, now redesigned and new.And the tomcat somehow came along recently.

You can see the effects of it all and propably will for some time, as those two are close to me and give me a lot of joy. I hope you'll like them too.
