Carbonmade

Yolk has recently got an invitation to a new joint project by Carbonmade :D

And so imanaged to get my hands on their tee, which also found their way to other participating artists. More about the project soon :)

The Spiral Staircase

Near the end of the last year i got my hands at a beatifull kid series project, by CN Europe Studio.

There were only 3 people working on the illustration part:
Tom Radclife - original story and illustrations, Dominic Ho - postproduction, and me - color design. Overseeing our work was Mathias Upton-Hansen.

We had 3 weeks to get everything done. Because of that it was a time of very hard work, we worked day and night, including weekends.
Tom created beatifull and spectacular illustrations. It was a great pleasure to be able to underline with colour their character, style and atmosphere.
I'm very glad that i got a free hand regarding all the colors. And that my style - that i've been developing more and more lately - was fitting enough that i got a permission to work on everything "my way" :>
Moments like that are a great joy for any artist :> Pity, that they're also so rarely present with our polish productions, where most often i have to mimic western styles... What and irony...

But anyway - in the heat of work we managed to create about a 7 minutes long episode. Both opened and closed by a steampunk-like stylised narrator.
Great sound, professionally done english job ;)  ...so nice.

Mushrooming

Hey there!
Finally i have some free time and mood to scribble something.
Couple of words on the series i just uploaded.

A long time ago i made illustrations for books. I really missed that, especially the ones for kids. From that came the idea to unearth Pea. She's an old friend with who i experimented years back, now redesigned and new.And the tomcat somehow came along recently.

You can see the effects of it all and propably will for some time, as those two are close to me and give me a lot of joy. I hope you'll like them too.

It's time for summer cleaning!

Oh yes... I decided some time ago to try and find some free time
to tidy up and show more stuff in my portfolio.
And so the first section - the one closest to my heart - finally works!
Whew... ;) You'll have to wait a bit for the rest :>

Alongside Thierry Martin and a bunch of other great Franco-Belgian cartoonists :D

CrunchDog - nowe studio animacji

Tym razem Świątecznie i wyjątkowo, tzn. trochę po polsku :>
a to w ramach nowinki, która mam nadzieje zainteresuje nie jednego.

W okolicach lutego ruszy stronka nowej cartoonowej gałęzi  Platige Image - CrunchDog. Jego pomysłodawcą i założycielem jest Leszek Nowicki, z którym od pewnego czasu tworzymy duet. Czego zresztą nie dało się nie zauważyć w moich postach :)

Rozgałęziamy się lekko tak by było nas lepiej widać.
Dzięki temu mam nadzieje zwrócimy większą uwagę klientów na siebie,
a tym samym powiększymy ilość Cartoonu w reklamach.
Co za tym idzie w naszej TV w ogóle :)

Liczę, że uda nam się sprawić by jak w przypadku Kota i Psa z Heyah chcieli nas więcej i więcej... Jeśli się uda to nie jedne ręce do pracy będą nam potrzebne!  ;)

Na razie od początku grudnia spinam się jak mogę by dopracować logo, zebrać materiały i zbudować wizualna stronę studia. W całym tym szale wydziergaliśmy z Leszkiem Świąteczną pocztówkę, którą zamieszczam poniżej.

As a part of Christmas time novelties i'm happy to officially announce that a new cartoon branch of Platige Image - CrunchDog will launch next year, sometime in february. It's creator and founder is Leszek Nowicki, who you can recognise as my long-time partner in various projects :)
We're detaching ourselves a little bit to be a little more visible.

I'm working extra hard since the start of december to get the logo done, gather all the materials and build the visual side of the Studio.
Among other things our Christmas Card was born this way, which you can see posted above :)
